Great News For All Of Us: Science Declares ‘Eating Healthy’ To Be A Mental Disorder

Sesame Street…making kids mentally ill since 1969, smh…

Natural societyIn an attempt to curb the mass rush for food change and reform, psychiatry has green lighted a public relations push to spread awareness about their new buzzword “orthorexia nervosa,” defined as “a pathological obsession for biologically pure and healthy nutrition.” In other words, experts are moving toward saying that our demand for nutrient-dense, healthful food is a mental disorder that must be treated.

CNN, Fast Company, Popular Science, and other top outlets have all began to trumpet the talking points on cue relatively recently:

“Orthorexia nervosa is a label designated to those who are concerned about eating healthy. Characterized by disordered eating fueled by a desire for “clean” or “healthy” foods, those diagnosed with the condition are overly pre-occupied with the nutritional makeup of what they eat”.

You had to have know for a long time now that there was something wrong with the healthy eating crowd. I knew it and now science has finally confirmed my theory all along; ‘healthy eaters’ are sick in the head. I fear this is just the tip of the iceberg though. Sure, healthy eaters need to be treated, that we know. But what about the vegetarians??? And don’t even get me started on the vegans. We may be able to treat vegetarians with some sort of electric shock therapy but I wouldn’t be opposed to re-opening some old mental institutions and stocking them full with the vegans. They clearly can’t be trusted.

At this point though I’m more sympathetic to the healthy eating crowd. They’re not doing this on purpose, they’re sick. They don’t understand that having a steak and cheese for dinner with a side of a bag of M&M’s actually isn’t wrong. That drinking 60 Bud Lights a weekend is actually normal. They’re the ‘healthy eaters’ and their brains don’t function like ours. Godspeed to the healthy eaters on getting the treatment they need.
